i just unscrewed my rear one, and the front broke off while trying to use a punch and knock it out. Good luck

If it is like my Scout, you should use a Williams sight pusher to slide out the front blade and that will expose the screws underneath that you can remove to take off the ramp.

Dumb question; why are you removing it? If you want to scope it you can leave the sights on. If you use more than 2x the sights will not interfere with the scope picture.

If you are asking me, I didn't remove the front sight, but I did change blades.

Rear removed with screwdriver. Front came off while trying to move the blade out of the front site base to unscrew it. Ran a tap in the hole and put one of the tiny receiver screws to fill the site holes.

Exact same thing happened to me.

Happened to me, too. Didn't mess up the threads, though.

You can order some plug screws from midway to plug the holes after you remove them. I hate iron sights on a rifle.
