Yes same bolt face as 308. Can't help you with where to find an exact match, but try Pacific tool and gauge for the bolt face. And if you have the rifle serial number you might be able to find everything you need at the savage website on their partfinder page.

If your building on a 110 action you want a 30-06 bolt head not one for a .308. Short action and long action boltheads are different.

Ah yes, you are right. But its not really a "308" bolt face, per se. What he needs to look for is simply a .473ish bolt face.

Why do you need new parts? Was it a magnum? If not you should be set.

If the existing stuff isn't in working order Midway has almost all of it in stock. Remember that a 243 has the same diameter head as an 06:

^^^^^^That is everything you need. I ordered all of the above to change my 110 flat back from 7mm for my 260 project. 30-06 mag box and follower would be a good idea too.

If you need a barrel I will have a 243 barrel off a LRP. It gets out of jail on the 17th and will be switching to 260 so it will be unfired.

See rule number 6. You need to read the rules before doing anymore posting here.

sorry about the misunderstanding, only looking for vendor sites, know about wws&wwb.anyway thanks for the info on midway site, some parts are on back orded.reason for replacement parts is,upon disassembly of a barreled reciever i bought locally,i found a verry thin crack about 3/8 long on thebolt face stub dirrectly in line with the ejector pin,any thoughts? iwould send pic.but havent figured it out yet. im new,69and notvery computer literet.also looking for rear baffel, this one is a little sloppy.very little wear on anything, but i think he stored it in a chicken coupe. thanks again

30-06 and .308 bolt are the same the part behind it shortens it up and that's only if you shoot something like a .223 in a short action.
