I had this information a while ago but I messed up. I want to find a couple of bolts, cut the heads off, and use them to properly position my action during a bedding job. The bolts I bought a while back, and modified, do not match up with the threads in my action. I thought I bought the right ones at the hardware store but the threads are much too coarse.

I don't think it's possible for anybody to move slower than me when it comes to putting one of these guns together. Bought the donor rifle in March of 2012. Parts from Jim Briggs were delivered in summer of 2012. Bought some tools and finally changed out the barrel a month or two ago. Now getting around to bedding. With any luck I ought to be shooting in a month or so.

Thanks for all your patience and wisdom.

Oh it is possible, I bought my donor 700 in 2010, bought my barrel/detachable mag/stock/trigger in 2011/ bought my pt&g bolt in 2013 and I finally trued the action and fit the barrel a month ago. Still need to finish it. Might get it done this month haha.
