I have a 6.5 shilen blank in the safe. It has been contoured but not chambered or crowned. The shank diameter is 1.15. I know large shanks are 1.12, and small measures 1.055. I'm not familiar with the machining process, so I'm curious if there is enough left to thread it to large shank. My feeling is yes, but then again have never measured any of the pipe the minions thread here in the patch to know for sure. (Maybe I need to start carrying my calipers @ work.)
