Converting m12 .204 to .243AI

Hello gents,
I have an 243 AI barrel I'm selling to a friend. I've done a few conversions but never this one. I know we will need a new bolt head and baffle. magazine follower. My question is, if I take the spacer out of the magazine will it work, if not, where can I buy a new box. What other parts am I leaving out?

Thanks boots, I've never removed the magazine, it is staggered feed. how is this done? I've always just used like actions to build in like family of cartridge.

there are 2 little tabs that fit into slots in the action and the front and back. I just put a flat screwdriver in and twist it a bit and they pop right out.
