A friend of mine is a well known Gunsmith, he is building and shooting a 6mm Competition Match. They claim up to 3000+ rounds of match grade accuracy!! This has been proven by well known shooters, but the round does require a throat maintenance regimen. Just wondering if there are any built on some Savage actions around. The parent cartridge is a 243Win, I've heard of group in the 1's just fire-forming.
W/H1000 and 115DTACS they are around 3000FPS without pushing it.

No 6CM here.but have been running a 6XC (6mm/250) for many yrs....

38-39 gr charges of H4350 does wonders with 107 SMKs

yep had one for about 5 years now love it 115 DTACS running 3000-3100 fps. I only have about 1700 thru mine but my friend has over 3700 and still holding less than 1/2 MOA at 800 yrds. yep David Bruno chambered both of our Model 12 Single Shot Savages with a Krieger barrel
200 yard fire forming

Teele1, how long is your barrel to get those velocities?

After doing some reading on the cartridge, your name was mentioned in a few forums.

Are there any more people who are chambering this round?

I've got a 27" Krieger on my Savage action. David Bruno, Chad Dixon Heck I've even heard Dave Kiff even shoots a 6CM
I was doing some load testing last week and it was hard to pick a load between 48.7 and 49.9. They all shot about less than 5/8 vertical at 200 yards at 2.870OAL. no pressure signs at all No hard bolt lift or flattened primers
