Magazine ???

Gooing to convert my 110 30-06 to a .243 where can i get magazine to do this or do i need just a spacer ? The 110 model i have is a hidden magazine not the external style or box mag i guess any help on this would be awesome !

Do you have a Centerfeed mag or a Staggerfeed mag? Eith way, try the mag you have. Many times the 30-06 mags will feed 243 thru 358 sized rounds. The 22-250 not so much however.

Ok will give it a try thank you for the info now to get the barrel and off i go! I hope so new to this barrel swap on my savage every thread i read says it is not difficult to do !

Nope, not too difficult. Just be sure to get your headspce set properly and that the barrel is free floating and you should be good to go.

In situations such as yours I say try the mag first. I have fed 308 on 30-06 magazines (both CF and SF styles) with good success and fed 243 and 243AI on '06 CF mags with minimal to zero issues. A buddy built a 243 on a factory 270 action/mag and it works great. The only thing to remember is to slide each round all the way to the back of the mag when you load it.
