sss comp trigger

hey guys, I am looking for a new trigger for the 260 I built on the stevens 200 action. will the sss competition trigger fit the stevens 200 action. thanks.

The only thing I have found is the trigger weight screw doesnt do much in the way of reducing poundage or am I doing soemthing wrong.I went by the instruction sheet but after I shot it some it did break in some.

Its right in the instructions that adjustment with trigger return spring is negligible. The trigger feel is mostly done with the seat engagement adjustment. Also, the lighter feeling trigger will also have the least creep and will brake like glass. For target shooting, i have only about 10% contact with the sear lobe, resulting in an unbelievably crisp trigger and about a 1 pound pull. While I've never had a slam or bump fire, i would not field this rifle with this setting. It still feels pretty crisp with about 25% sear engagement and the trigger return spring set as tight as it will go. And its about 2 pounds.
