Barrel channel in a Stockade Sporter???

I just got a Brux from S.S.S. it's a pretty straight taper from the 1.055" to .735" at the muzzle anyone ever tried one similar to this in a Stockade Hunting Sporter?? Is there enuff meat to open this stock up to fit said barrel??
