Hi Guys,

Wondering if there is a Mag Conversion for the LRPV in 22-250.

I have been using my .223 a bit lately but need more "Legs" as the shots are getting out past 400yds and we are shooting feral Goats.

The Model 10 Hunter Max 1 that I have been using is Really accurate out to 250-300 and really reliable but the shots at 400 are "Hit and Miss' (Pardon the pun).

I am thinking that the 22-250 with the 9 twist LRPV will be a good option but will need a Mag conversion so I can follow up quickly.

I have seen the Stocky Version and the CDi also. Does anyone have one of these and has anyone converted their Single shot to the mag?

Cheers

Slimy

Slimy...

My opion (only) is that you will have great difficulty in finding a "repeater" target action. Even the HS Precision stock with the DBM is hard to find. As long as you can get an LRPV stock (the HS Precision stock with DBM), one one like it, I think you will not lose a thing using a std. short action with a better trigger. As far as I know, the Target Repeater Action is no longer avail. (I've been looking for quite some time)...

Nooooooo.....

Don't say that!

Ok, so you are saying If I got a Hunter max 1 in 22-250 and upgraded the Stock/Trigger I would be winning?

Have found the HS precision Stock with the Right Screw Spacing for the Short Action late model (4.4) and a Trigger upgrade is easy...

What ya reckon? 1-12 Twist also....

If you drop the "V" and go with the 12 LRP in .243 you can have a reapeter as well as taking goats a whole lot farther than 400 yards.

Hmmm.. I dont see a picture. Is it the Black Barrelled Rifle in an HS precision stock?
The Blurb says .243 repeater but no picture... I'm interested.
