New Build Started....

Starting with a Savage 10 FCP McMillan 308. Factory barrel at this point. The scope is a Leupold Mark 4 8.5-25x50 ERT. Badger Ordnance 20 MOA base, and Badger Ordnance rings. Sinclair 3rd Gen F Class bipod.

A Bartlein 30" stainless, 1:10 twist, Whitley medium palma contour is ordered. It will be duracoated and the action glass bedded.

Very nice, are you gonna shoot F-class with that, how do you like that bi-pod?

Yeah, I'll shoot F/TR with it. I love the bi-pod. It's extremely adjustable and very light for the size. But very stable. The micro elevation adjustment is really handy when using an edgewood rear bag, or something similar.

She came back last week from Tooter Meredith at Meredith Rifles in Athens, AL. He took that factory FCP McMillan 308 that had never been shot and worked magic on her! 30" Bartlein barrel with a whitley medium palma contour and 1:10 twist, match chamber, pillar bedded, trued action, cerakoted everything including the stock. Tooter guaranteed half moa with match ammo but when I picked her up he told me he was hoping for quarter moa. He didn't disappoint! Took her out to the range twice this week for OCW testing and she got .26 moa at 100 with 42.6 gr of IMR 4064, SMK 175 HPBT, Lapua brass, and CCI BR2 primers and an OAL of 2.80". And that was shooting off a bipod with a squeeze bag!
