Is it normal or standard for inventories to be low at this time of year. I am looking to purchase 220 but supplies are limited and prices seem to be 10% higher than they were in October. Is that normal for this model or is it simply a result of gun control fears? Be interested in hearing your opinions based upon past observations. I currently have a 210 and have not followed market prices on slug guns for quite some time.

I think sales of the 220 is seasonal. It is a special purpose weapon. Have you checked Buds ? They had some last time I looked. Inventory changes all the time. I got the stainless version, it was about $600 if I recall.

I bought mine at Dick's for $479,matte black with camo stock.
Had it out Sunday to sight a new Redfield 2-7. Three different bullets Hornady, Win., & Rem.(copper solids too expensive) nothing smaller than 2 3/4" group @ 100 yards. Before the next deer season I may try the 3" shells.
Try Gunbroker look often some alway show up.
