I have a stagger feed long action I am going to build into a 300 RUM, thus the need for the single shot follower, 210 VLD's do not fit in magazines. . . .
I am building the stock from a blank so it will not be inletted for a mag box. . . would like something I can epoxy in, if such a thing exsists, I would make my own on the mill but my time is worth more than $10-30 I have seen SS followers going for. . .

What to buy??

You should be able to epoxy the SSS follower w/o problems. You may have to thin down the follower or rout a groove in the stock for clearance under the action.

I just did this exact thing to my Striker. It also isnt inletted for a magbox, so I used a Score-hi follower and placed it in when I bedded the action.

I was also installing pillars at the same time so it was easier to set the height, and I didnt have to trim the follower at all.

Place the follower in the stock, then bolt in the action and see if it is too high or low. Obviously if it is high you will have to relieve something to lower it, but if it is low you can build up under it with bedding compound, then bolt everything in and just push it down into the bedding till it is at the right height. Then just let it setup.
