Model 12 LRP shipping with different stocks?

I've read a few posts recently on other forums that the LRP is now shipping with a different HS stock with a more vertical grip. I guess it would be the same stock that's on the model 10 FCP HS Precision model. It makes sense. Is there any truth to this?

Maybe that's why there has been no picture for the LRP rifles on the Savage website for a month or two? I think it would be a big improvement for the LRP.

Yes, i called Savage and they are now shipping with the HS Precision PST114 Style.

My 12 LRP with this stock is being shipped to my FFL right now!

Now, if only they came in tan/black web instead of plain black.
