Caliber change

thinking about changing caliber in my modeol 12 .308.what caliber would be better? 6.5x55 mauser or 6 mm ppc?

You may want to state at what distances you are wanting to shoot. I have never had one, but from what more experienced competitive shooters on here have indicated, the 6PPC really shines at 250 yards or less.

If you are looking at 200 to 1000 yards the 6BR may be a better choice. I have a 6BR and love it. It even shoots great under 200 yards. Easy to load for, and with a fast twist barrel the 6BR can digest the full range of available 6mm Bullets.

if you do a creedmoor make sure you can get either a f/l sized brass or go-nogo guages i had to wait 2 months before i got a go guage (borrowed)
