Installing savage Tactical Bolt handle

Just got in two Savage tactical bolt handles in stainless. Zero problems on the formerly 223 now 6.8.

But there is an object in the allen hole of my model 16 Creedmoor. Not sure how to safely get the thing out of the allen area.

Any ideas?

uncock the bolt,then you can remove the bolt action screw

Got it finally had to fire it. Then it took 75 ft pound torque to remove the screw.

But I do love the feel of the tactical bolt. I polished it a little, more satin finish. The other one for bu Savage 6.8 SPC II will be polished brite.
