OK fellas, I got into a discussion with a couple buddies last night. One of which tried to tell me that the Axis action was better than the Savage/Stevens action because the Axis has a floating bolt head and a closed top. I thought the Savage/Stevens action had a floating bolt head as well. This guy insisted I was wrong, and that the S/S action couldn't have a floating bolt head because of the open top style action. Can someone set this straight for me?

+1 on stangfish!
And the size of the ejection port has nothing to do with the floating bolt head either.
