Being a Lapua round... a search for 'Lapua reloading data' leads to their site, and then you can navigate to this...

Quickload shows case length 1.850" (46.99 mm).

Someone quoted the PTG reamer on the Benchrest.com forum, as follows:
The PTG Chamber drawing for the 6 X 47 Lapua shows the chamber to be 1.860". If you have access to the reamer drawing for your chamber you could verify your chamber length, or resort to a cerrosafe chamber cast if you like. I would just shoot them until they get close to the 1.860 length before I trim them at all, and then just about .010 or so (to 1.850).

So...I would think that 1.850" is correct and max of 1.860".

Personally I tend to go with the vendor who brought the cartridge to market...

I have a 6-6.5x47L, and after necking down I had to trim back to 1.838" to get the cutter to hit the mouth on them all; 1.840" skipped better than 50%. Granted, the necking down process does tend to shorten things up a skosh, but not that much over that small of a change in caliber - 1.850" wouldn't have touched any of them

You can barely read it in memilanuk reply, but Lapua states:

Cases: Lapua, trim-to-length 46,80mm (1.843")

Thanks for all the reply's, I never thought about going to Lapua's site!
