Howdy ALL I'm new here, can anyone help? savagew 93r17

I have a Couple savage rifles, a 12bvss and a 93r17. I was at a gun show today and bought a new boyds stock for my 93r17, it was cheap at 70 bucks, but when i got home i noticed my 93 has a plastic trigger guard built into the stock. The boyds stock i bought is a 93 svt fin sky. What do i do about the trigger guard? buy a metal one? where do i get the correct metal guard? Will everything else fit?
