Savage 10FP in .223 barrel swap

hello,

i can't seem to find the threads or links.

i am considering swapping out the barrel on a Savage 10FP in .223 for an aftermarket barrel. i'd probably like a faster twist, like 1:8 or 1:7.

any information will be appreciated.

Theres a fast twist Benchmark barrel in our classifieds right now for sale, but you have to be a paid member to view it.

You could also check the vendors classifieds, and look for Northland Shooter Supply. He has factory and aftermarket Shilen and Mcgowen barrels in stock and ready to ship. Or if he dont have what you want he can order it.

Hmmm...nothing like clamping a vice on your kitchen table (after protecting the surface). If you have a significant other, please take necessary precautions to cover up the crime you are going to commit.
