I am interested in the 10/110 Predator Hunter Max 1 in .243. It's the one with the black 24" barrel and camo accustock

I've been looking for a high acccuracy, bolt action, adjustable trigger, detachable box mag rifle that I can outfit with a bipod and this unit seems to fit the bill without the added weight of target-only models.

The question I have is this: does it have two sling lugs in the front, or two? The Savage site shows one, but other sites show two. The Savage site itself does not mention this.

I will try to reach Savage tomorrow, but if any of you have this model and can verify please let me know.

Also, I am thinking of mounting a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14 BDC unit on it, so if anyone has experience with mounts and rings, please chime in.

Hey Chris,

I have the .223 Version with the 4.4 Spacing (I believe others have different spacing depending on issue date) and it has one swivel stud.

Like you I have the Buckmaster but in 18X and it works really well in combo with this rifle. Mine is an absolute tack driver so I hope yours is the same!

I have gone for the EGW 0 MOA Mount with Warne 1 Inch Quick Release Rings in low. Plenty of clearance and they mate up really nice.

Sorry for the crappy photo, I took it in a hurry for ya.
