Hello, new to the forum and have a question about the savage 93 fss in 22wmr. Is there an after market laminate stock available for this gun? Thanks for any info.

Yes, Check out Boyds stocks, they make a nice laminate replacemant stock at a good price too.

thanks, i checked out boyd's and can't seem to find that exact model, only 93e and mark 2. I'll contact them to be sure. thanks again.

Yea, you'll love the laminate stock, I put one on my 93 E .22 Mag with a 3-9X40 scope, it helps at the shooting range too.

Here's my 93 WMR BTVSS and MKII BV wearing Boyd's SSEVO stocks-love them, great balance.

I think the new stocks are made to fit the E and pre E without any problems.
If you go this way, you'll need the kit from DIP that has the heavy bottom mag plate, trigger guard, and longer screws. That's the way both of mine are done.
