Savage edge 30-06 mag ????

I just traded a Ruger BX-25 mag for a Savage Edge XP 30-06 in the box. Im pretty sure I made out on the deal. It has 4 shots thru it and he gave me 4 boxes of remington ammo -4 lol. But my problem is the back of the mag has a clip broken off is there a way to fix it or would savage send a new one. And if all else fails are the edge mags the same as the axis mags. Any help would be appreciated.

Bottom plate is like $4 to buy from Savage. Just call them and tell them what you need and they should be able to hook you right up. Might not even charge you for it.

Just called Savage and told them about my mag problem and they asked for my serial number and said we have a base plate and a extra mag on the way for your troubles. I have only had to deal with savage customer service once before in my life and they are top notch. Ruger could learn alot from Savage no wonder every rifle I have is a savage.
