I just want to confirm this.
All I need to make this conversion is the barrel. The 243 bolt head will work with a 6mmbr round, correct?
Thanks

Yes. You might also want a single shot adaptor for your mag.

You bet it will work, I did it, and with vary good results. And you can do all the work yourself. I did add the single shot follower, and replaced the trigger with a Rifle Basics Sav-ll, set at 11oz. And a Pac-Nor 26" Super Match heavy varmint contour 1 in 8 twist, 6MM BR, no turn neck chambered barrel. I put mine in a Richards Microfit stock, and that was a little work, but its a shooter. Avg at 100 is .2 to .3 with my best at .097 for 5 @100. You cant beat that for $1K, less glass.

Ditto, I built a 6mmNorma BR on a Stevens doner action using a Lothar Walther barrel. I'm still working up loads but, priliminary testing has been promising to say the least.

And even fireforming loads, the accuracy will be unbelievable. ;)
