Anybody have any experience with the Hawke riflescopes? Not my first choice but price not bad.

I was considering their rimfire scopes but can't find anyone who has experience with them.

Hawke's U.S. office is just down the road from me making them pretty popular around here. I'm pretty new to shooting though and have not used one yet. I know about a dozen people around here who have them and really like them. I won't have a chance to shoot with them until this summer though. I have read mixed reviews on them so I'm looking forward to putting them up against my scopes.

Hi. I just received a new Hawke Sidewinder (30mm tube). It's 6-24X56 and has the SR PRO IR reticle. It is mounted on my M25 in 17 Hornet. It is an excellent scope. The rifle shot one hole groups at 50 yds with a Tasco Mag IV (6-20X50),
The BRC software is great and the fit/finish is as good as anything else in my collection. Glass is excellent. The warranty is also excellent, although I will probably never need it, since all my rifles are just used for punching paper or 'yote hunting from a elevated stand.
Believe it or not, it was NOT cheap, but it made my Nikon Monarch look like a NecStar....
