They only say "308" on their webpage. Anyone know what they are? Specificaly throat length and neck diameter?

I used the email address that they show on their website and was able to get the specs for my .243 barrel.

I bet you hear back quick. I doubt it was more than 24 hours before I heard back.

Thanks,
Jim answered the two things I really needed. Neck and freebore. These dimensions are saami spec.

I wished they offered tighter neck options like shillen does for winchester brass.

Yeah... .310 freebore, wow. Somehow I figured they'd be using something a *little* snugger, possibly approaching a 'match' chamber. Obviously what they use works, judging from reports, but it kinda cools my interest in one.

I agree. This is for an FTR rig. Looks like Shillen will be my choice. Out of curriousity, I am going to cast my factory savage palma rifle and see what it is chambered in those areas.

I'll save you the trouble:

.342-.343 neck, .3085 freebore. If it was an F/TR with the Obermeyer chamber, it'd be about 0.085" long freebore. Palma... don't recall, but I believe its less, like about 0.050" or so.

I dont know why I put down palma, guess I was thinking about the palma reamers I have been looking at.
It is a factory Savage 308 FT/R. I guesstimated between .075-.085 from my measurements. I shot some juggernauts today seated at 2.225 comparator length.somewhere around 2.230-2.232 I can feel the lands. They shot real well! I need about .010-.015 more to get the base out of the neck junction though .
