While in Dick's Sporting Goods today I looked at a nice Savage rifle but did not get the model number. It was a combo package in .308 with about a 20 inch heavy barrel, accutrigger, detachable box magazine, black composite stock and the forearm had two studs for the attachment of a sling and a bipod. It also had a cheap 4x12 scope. The rifle looked similar to a Remington 700 SPS Tactical. I can't find it in the Savage catalog or on the Savage website. Anyone have an idea what it was. I sure did like the look, feel, and features of that rifle and it was priced right in comparison to the Remmy.
