hey guys i just traded my brother guns mine was a model 12 fv syn stock all black in .204, his is a model 12 also in .204 all black syn stock but its a single shot
he won it at a dinner and dont have any of the paper work from it, i was wondering what version is this gun?

Well that's what I kinda thought too but I removed the stock and it don't have the aluminum bedding block. I almost wanna say its maybe 2 to 3 years old. Let me know if there is anything else that might help

the older guns did not have a block.

why not just contact Savage, give them the serial number and they should be able to tell you. It may have been a special run for a chain....so it would still be a model 12 FV, just a single shot.

haha wow i should have thought about calling them didnt even think about that. sometimes you over think things and need someone to get you think simple :) ill try and call and reply what they tell me
