Need 1907 front sight

Just got my first Savage, it's a 1907 32 cal pistol made in the teens, model 3 series. When I received it the front sight was broken off, need a source for one if any member knows of one. Other option (the most realistic) is that I ordered a sight blank from Numrich the approximate width needed. What I would like from a fellow member is the measurement from the top of the slide to the top of the sight. I figure I can cut/file one out and fit it to the old girl. Did buy the book Savage Pistols, but it didn't have specs on the sight. The exposed parts list on Numrich is curious in the sense that the front sight is not called out.

The height from where the pin ends to the top of the sight is 0.170".

Hard item to find, probably better off filing one up like you mentioned.
