1).

My 114 American Classic 7mm in SS comes in on Tuesday. The shop I ordered it from carries Kick-Eez recoil pads. The gunsmith there recommended that, go figure. What do you guys think about those vs. Limbsaver vs. Decelerator? Prices are all the same basically, I just want the best pad.

Looking for input based on function, then fit/look, then durability.

2).

What Bi-Pod should I put on it? It will be used for prone long range hunting. My gun weighs 8.6 pounds scoped, so I'm looking for something lightweight yet decently stable. The Harris's just seem too heavy.

A Vias muzzle brake and a Harris with swivel and notched legs. Then add a lever lock to the swivel and it's worth the extra weight and cost! I know, not what you wanted to hear but JMHO.

Thanks for the reply. I'm open to any input.

Why do you prefer Vias specifically?

Also, how much does a typical muzzle break weigh? Sorry to sound like the rookie, but I have never had one installed.
