I have been been looking into on of these to get rid of the side to side slop in my action. The description on midway says "in the white", what would be some good finish methods. Or let me ask what have those of you that have these done?

I noticed too that they are in the white. I've heard people say they don't finish them just keep them well lubed. Maybe cold blue or the anti friction coating that cerokote has?

I just keep it slick. Looks too good to paint.

Thats what I was thinking also. Now I just need to decided if I want to get my factory bolt fluted by SSS for $55 or a PTG body for $85ish...

Are those basically a drop in? Like I take my bolt apart and put the parts on the ptg and put it in? And lastly is there a difference between a left handed and right handed bolt?

LH and RH bolt bodies are different. The direction of the cocking ramps are opposite.

Check out KG Coatings. I'd pre-treat with K-Phos and follow with Gun-Kote 2400 Clear oven-bake.

I like their Gearkote as well.
