Savage 12 FTR rings and bases?

What set-up are you using and how big is your obj? I am picking up the rifle this weekend and I would like to go ahead and place an order for the rings and bases. The base I buy is going to have 20moa. I will be mounting a NF 8-32x56. I can't wait to get out and shoot it.

EGW 20 moa is the way to go.
I use a Weaver 36x target scope. 40mm objective. Rings came with scope.

Say boss gonna be picking up my sav 12 bvss 308 in a few days and i want to make sure i get the right base too... I saw somewhere online where there was a sav chart showing what mount to get for wha ever savage you had...I cant seem to find it for some reason... can someone help

Just looked mine again. 20 moa EGW base with what looks like medium high rings with a Weaver T 36 scope. Clears barrel by less than 1/4".

I found the site that gives mount style for all savage guns.. go to weaver home page then look for gun mount chart weaver 402 or 402s for sav 12 2 piece mount extended for more back and forth positioning of scope http://www.weaveroptics.com/mountcharts/default.aspx
