New Axis 223 owner in Missouri....

Just got a Stainless 223 Axis yesterday........ heard alot of good about these rifles.
I have a Savage 110 30-06 growwing up.
Looking at mod'n the trigger spring, scope rail/ mounts, and a sling for it now.
Cant wait to get it out and shoot some rounds thru it.

Yep, I drive Polla Rd every morning. Never been to Big Piney Club.
I was stationed at FLW from 97 to 2001 spent most of the times in the woods on post. Moved back here in 2010 to work as a civilian.
Cause I live in Lebanon I usually shoot over here.....need to check out some of the ranges there that way though.

I have the Axis in a .223 but all black and it is currently my favorite rifle, just recently nailed a dirty little ground squirrel with it at 260 yards.
Think you'll be happy with it.

Welcome from St. Louis. I don't have any experience with the axis, but have 2 other Savage rifles and 3 Savage muzzleloaders. Have been real impressed with accuracy in all of them.
