2008 Savage Model 12 BTCSS Rings

Newbie/First time poster here. Greetings to all!

I'm just getting into varmint hunting and have purchased my first varmint rifle. I bought a new Savage Model 12 BTCSS in .22-250. Also bought a Nikon Monarch 6-24x50 BDC scope. I have settled on the Burris Xtreme tactical 2 piece bases and Burris Signature Zee rings. My question is can someone tell me which height (medium or high) Zee rings I need for this setup? I'll be shooting less than or up to 500 yds. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

I have the same bases and high rings coming tomorrow for my 12 VLP DBM. The objective OD on my scope is 2.335" or 59.3mm. If no one beats me to it I will let you know how much, if any, clearance I have. I really hope I didn't blow it, looking forward to breaking this thing in on friday. Supposed be a balmy 39 deg friday afternoon ;).

Burris has a scope chart on their web site that will tell you the size rings you need.
I didn't look it up but I think you need medium. If you go with the xtr rings you will need the lows.

So, my rings and bases came today. For the record, I got the Extreme Tactical Picatinny bases and High Signature Zee rings. Clearance under the scope is about .130". Again, the OD on my scope is 2.335". Hope this helps!
BTW, broke the barrel in today...I think I'm gonna like this thing! ;D

If your ordering a new gun it will be round top
