Savage TRR-SR and Harris Bipod

Very new to this forum and my new Savages. Never used a Bipod before. Bought a Harris cause I heard it was best but instructions are junk! Do I need an adapter to attach it to the TRR? I figured it just had a pin to go thru the front stud on the stock but no such luck!

Can someone wiser then me help?

My Harris attaches to the sling swivel stud with a spring loaded clamp that has "****" on each end. These go through the hole were the sling swivel pin would normally go. Then you snug it with the set screw.
