Ok so my Swift is almost finished. Just waiting on the stock to get here from Boyd's. I went with the Tacicool mostly because it will fit a varmint contour barrel. Anyway I was wondering where a good starting point will be to start loading up some rounds. I will be shooting 55 grain Nosler's.

Any help on where to start will be awesome!

Thanks

Ryan

26" long with a 1 in 12 twist. Its a heavy varmint....

I have done a full case of RL17 with 55gr, that will send a message without getting into trouble, RL 15 and Varget are staples in the swift cult 36gr of either with room to add some umph, remember start lower and work your way up.

Thanks guys.... Looks like my build is going to be a little bit off.... The receiver I was going to use fell through. I have a short action 243 but I dont really want to mess with that.... it is too much of a shooter. I also dont want to put it together on a long action.... So maybe next month I will just go pick up a new one and go from there.
