What trigger is this?

Previous owner installed an aftermarket trigger on a 116, but doesn't remember what brand.
I can't identify and would like to get some instructions on adjustment.
Any ideas on brand/model?

Looks to me like a Rifle Basix SAV-1

You are correct.
I sent a photo to Clay at Basix and he confirmed it is the SAV-1.
(I don't know why companies don't put their name somewhere on the product they make.)

Nope - it is a great trigger. I installed one on my 7MM-08 Stavage (Stevens action & Savage wood stock) and it transformed the gun.
The trigger is crisp and consistent.

Its a crappy trigger if you like a light trigger pull. Its basically just an accutrigger without the accurelease. I bought one, installed it, couldn't get it to engage the sear reliably, removed it, sent it back, bought a SSS trigger and never looked back.
I've had enough accutriggers that have failed to engage the sear and lock up against the accurelease that i would hate to have a trigger of similar design, like the sav-1, without a sear block. Failure to engage the sear = slam fire...

The Sav 1 isn't supposed to be a super light trigger. You had it set too light and were asking it to do something it isn't supposed to do and got upset when it wouldn't engage the sear properly? Not the triggers fault. Glad you are happy with the SSS.

This is going to remain on a rifle for hunting use only, so I will be setting it at 3lbs.
