Ok Ive decided I will get the 30-06 barrel. Now I have a 111, so my question is which model of barrel will fit? EG 110 etc etc

You don't have to worry about the model. What you do need to know is whether yours is a standard, small shank or a large shank action.
Most are small shank but some- WSM's and some big magnums were large shanks.

Standard is small shank.

OP, most calibers out there are small shank(.308, .243, .223, .270...)

Savages large shank models are the 12 LRP's and a few others.

Thanks for that. That was what I was meaning I should have asked what shank does my rifle have.

Swap couldn't get any easier. Find small shank 25-06 barrel of choice, unscrew 30-06 barrel, screw on new barrel, headspace and done.
