Scope for a 260 rem

Hey guys. I want to have a scope for long range target shooting 600-700 yds and hunting 100-500 yds. I'm stuck and don't really know what to get. I'm hoping for under $300 possibly even $250. Thanks in advance.

Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14 mil-dot. $300. Add 20 MOA mount for $40-50. Solid scope and more than adequate glass.

+1 on the Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14, I have one on my model 12 .223. Out to 500 yards...For your .260,may I suggest what I have on my Savage LRP .260 ? I have a Vortex Viper 4.5-20x44 thats for 600-1000+ yards.Price $300. Just a thought...Gary
