Is the Savage model 16 #19724 in 6.5 Creedmoore a short action or long action?? It has a magazine, I am assuming it is a centerfeed???

Looks like the model 12 is a long action???

I can get the Savage model 16 #19724 in 6.5 Creedmoore for less than $600, is this a good price??? Any one have one??

Comes with the Nikon scope, but I already have a P223 in 3-9x40

I haven't ordered the rifle yet, but already purchased two boxes of ammo, 6.5 Creedmoor Hornady Superformance 129gr. SST Ammo and 6.5 Creedmoor Hornady Match 120gr. A-MAX Ammo. Think I will order some Tubbs bullets too to break in the barrel. He has the bullets but not loaded creedmoor ammo.

all 2 digit models are short actions(models 10,11,12,14,and 16).

all recent 3 digit codes are long action(models, 110,111,112,114,and 116)

If it is a new gun it will be a centerfeed action.

Well, you already bought the ammo.

So it looks like you have to buy the rifle now.

Purchased the gun, model 16 in 6.5 Creedmoor, with shipping $564

Any suggestions on a stock, not too heavy. I have two Boyds stocks for model 16 in 223 blind mag staggared feed), but open to others.

Any one have a laminate stock that keeps the bottom magazine?
