We will do a few raffles. We did not go crazy on raffle items this year because I figured everyone will be busy sighting their guns in all day at the 1k target...LOL Plus with it being a transition year and such an earlier date, it will be relaxing to just sit down and shoot.

We have some EGW HD bases and the Berger Bullets gift certs to give out. We will do atleast 1 50/50 raffle as well.

Love thos Berger gift certs. Yeah Mike, I think you are right, we will be trying to get on at 1K and still have bullets left for focused shots at that distance. I need to figure out how many clicks to put on these scopes before I get there so I will be somewhere close.

Hornaday has this, http://www.hornady.com/ballistics-resource/ballistics-calculator seems pretty close to what I get to 300 yards with my rifles..

Just screw the elevation turret all the way up, and hold high and you'll get Vince LOL!!!

I am planning on bringing a couple of things for sale, like anyboby has any money left. I just bought a Bald Eagle rest, so selling my good old "old style" Caldwell BR Rest. This is the older heavy one with the balance bubble. I loved the thing but got to sell. Also selling my Caldwell fire control rest. Have a new, never shot Savage Model 11 .243. Plastic stock, no accutrigger. Nice high luster type blue. I decided to go with all stainless actions. Let know if you are interested in any of it, and I'll figure out a price.

I found some bright orange heavy paper at work that is about 20x30 I will bring some so we can use it at 1k as targets...

That's great Pete. It'll come in handy to try and get on target. I zeroed in 9" high at 100 yards with the 2 guns I am bringing. That should put me on target at 500, after shooting there a while. I go out further. Couldn't find any 5" orange dots, but I will keep looking. Did get some 3" dots.

Zero'd 08:30. Qual'd 09:00. Range Safety Officer 09:00-1600 with only two 15 minute breaks. It's the Army way I guess. Hope you folks are having more fun than I am. Can't wait to read the post event replies and see pictures. Wish I was there instead.

It was horrible and you guys who didn't come woulda hated it...NOT!!! This day was absolutely perfect! The weather was about 7o and sunny and for most of the day the wind was at our backs. We shot from 100yds out to just shy of 1100yds. We had 15 shooters so ev eryone got their own bench, which worked out perfect.

This may not have been our most attended shoot or one with the most prizes, but in my opinion it was the most fun of any one we have ever had!!! We WILL be holding it here from here on out for sure.

I want to thank Berger for their donation to our shoot. They have been good to us year after year and we really appreciate it.
I also want to thank Jack and the guys from the Mifflin County Sportsmans Assoc.! They welcomed us with open arms and treated us like we have been coming there for years. It truly made our location change go easily.

Gotta go for now....on our way home and Trops Gun Shop is only 1 exit away. Time for me and ranjan1 to get out and stretch....LOL

Helluva great shoot Mike. This was by far the best shoot yet!!! Great find on the range there really a good bunch. Nice to see all you guy's again too. Already can't wait till the next shoot. Special thanks to Dan and Berger for coming up with the free Berger bullet coupons again this year. Gotta go unload the truck.
