Im not sure Ed. Somebody here mentioned there was camping nearby. I believe it may have been Hersh5317. He is a member there. Maybe he will chime in and let us know.

I think you can camp on the range property.. Look on there sight...There is a long range shooting class and they use the clubhouse to bunk overnight.

A 15-20 minute drive west on 322 is Poe Valley State Park. Hot showers, lake for swimming, and trails.

Cool! I reserved a spot at Poe near the lake. Now I just need to figure what rifles to bring. I have nothuing ready for "long range" that is anything proven beyond 400 yards at best. I guess it will be the 25-06 with Berger VLD's.

Glad you got a spot. For the trout anglers, a few miles beyond Poe Valley is Poe Paddy. Rustic camping, but good trout fishing.

There is a life size turkey gong at 500 and a ram/goat at 700. My H&R 223 hits them both easily once I get my dope right. The 25-06 should be plenty good.

Just a question on the 1000 yard targets, what is the angle up to the targets as it will factor into the final input into my ballistic program

I heard it is a pretty good incline to 1000, my buddy said he had to put a 2x4 under his front legs of his rest last time he was there for a groundhog shoot.

Mike, if i can,t connect on some Varget powder i won,t be making the shoot,can,t believe how fast things dried up,if anyone reads this post and tell me where i can buy some Varget powder please give me the info, i am on the waiting list at a few distributors but they still gave me a 50/50 chance that the powder may not make it to them on the date thats on there site.

I am in the same boat Jeff, I think I have just enough for the shoot and that's it.. When it picks up again I will be stocking up..
