I would love to own one it is just that da-n muzzle brake I hate them. Maybe I'll have to bite the bullet and replace it with a suppressor, but that's next years project. If I do another this year wife will go crazy.

I understand that. I told my wife I was buying a deer rifle so she figured 6-700 bucks and never followed up with me on the price. When this showed up she was a little upset but she'll get over it. I figure its better to get what I want and begg for forgiveness than it is to ask permission and have her tell me no.

Very sweet rifle there Corky!

Thanks, guys. I will say, it shoots better than I do. When I do my part right, it's scary accurate!

Neal you make me more jealous every time you post one of these.
I have been looking for a stryker for over a year but everyone thinks they are made out of precious metal or something.
I hear tell someone knows of a couple in a shop up in Alaska NIB but he aint talking.

They are still there in that small gun shop in Alaska too! $450. each and he doesn't take credit cards'
As Greg inferred, Target Actions are readily available.
Until I ran across this super new material to make stocks out of the Target action handgun was just to heavy for me. As pictured this gun weighs in at 7.4 pounds.

Thank you!

Neal I probably should have emailed this to you but, have you looked on gun broker lately they have a plain run of the mill Stryker for sale, buy now $850,and I guess it is because it is from the Jim Carmichel collection(the outdoor writer). Connecticut Shotgun is the selling dealer.
I don't know if you do collectibles but thought I'd let you know, or anyone else reading that is interested.

Once I bedded the recoil lug and receiver, it turned into a real tack driver. Receiver channel was cut a bit to big, and off center. Once I got it bedded, I just threw a load together using almost a max load of IMR4831 and a 70 gr Nosler Balistic tip. I got a 5 shot group I could cover with a dime. I havn't done too much load development since then. Though, one day I tried shooting at individual flies that had landed on the target board. I didn't hit any, but I scare a few.
