This rifle had already been sporterized, before I bought it.
Springfield 03A3 and chambered for the 30~338 magnum. Stock is glass bedded and was on the rifle when I purchased it.
A mighty fine shooter that does`nt kick hardly any at all, more of a push.
The scope is a BSA 3-16 X 40 with military style line marked cross hairs. Not the best scope on the market but it seems to work quite well on this rifle.
No cartridges on the stores shelves for this one, neck down the .338 Win Magnum casings.
An old box of Military 30-06 Match grade cartridges.

Ruger 556 with gas assisted piston. GG&G tactical bipod. 100 round drum mag. Eotech front dot with a Burris 3x magnifier on a Larue tactical flip to the side mount. Easy to shoot.

Its amazing to still see this thread going. Although its title has been modified and people are still harping over a very full single beer next to my original picture many many years later.... One of my ladies has gotten some new jewelery so it would seem it is time to show an updated picture of the 6.5creedmoor. Full power loads sound a bit like a 22 mag and subsonics sound like a cap gun. The bullet hitting the target is so much louder.

It is a .308 Savage 11VT (Dick's SG special) I bedded in a Boyd's Tacticool laminate stock using acraglass. I painted the stock Rustoleum OD and added the Mathew's Kydex adjustable cheek rest (from Amazon). I upgraded to the limbsaver pad when I bought the stock. I also added the Savage oversized bolt handle (it was a take-off from someone else's build). The scope is an SWFA fixed 16x on an EGW 20MOA base in SWFA low rings. The bipod is some cheapo midway special I just threw on there to help with the pictures (I normally shoot off a Caldwell front rest).

Hahaha yes... I was wondering if anyone would notice. Klaus is a curious cat that must touch anything new to him. He jumped up and tapped the barrel in perfect timing with this photo which was set on a tripod and using a time delay since I didn't have a remote switch handy. In other words, the timing was hilarious because he had .4 seconds to jump into the frame and I had no control over when I actually snapped the photo due to the time delay.
