Hi guys,

I just wanted to share a couple pics of my Savage Model 12 (.308) that my wife just took for me..... Its in a Boyd's lightweight thumbhole stock with a Millett 6-25x56 LRS-1 scope. I'm considering buying lower scope rings, but I actually have no issue with the tall ones, Its hard finding 35mm rings here in Canada.

It does look pretty goofy with those rings.

You don't find with your cheek weld that it's too high?

Now see what you have gone and done!

I gotta get the Boyds Feather weight too now.... I had been eyeing one up but wasn't sure about the Bull Barrel....But now.. oh yeah!

Did it come milled out for the bull barrel or did you have that done?

Very nice 12! She'll look REALLY nice once you get the scope down some. I use Tally 2 piece mounts on my 12 FVSS the mount right on the receiver. 35mm, hmmm... May be hard to find the right rings?

How long is the barrel, 26?

When you bought the stock what option did you choose? The factory barrel or the bull barrel?

I'll bet it's a shooter! That Boyd's Stock is pretty. Lower rings would probably serve you well.
