I just picked up one of these - neat little .22. It is drilled and tapped for a side mount scope (2 3/8" centers) as well as for a peep sight. What are the possibilities of finding a scope (seems like a Savage #10 or a Lyman #55 peep. Perhaps there is something new(er) that will work for this rifle?

The scope mount holes are for a Weaver T mount.

Not sure what you mean about the peep sight holes, they never came drilled and tapped for a Savage #10, that would be a top mount sight, is that where yours is drilled?

Ooops, I see what you meant now, not the Savage #10 peep sight, a Savage #10 scope.

The Savage #10 scope is the same thing as a Weaver 329 scope, Savage just called it a #10 to make it sound like it was theirs.
