Can anyone tell me if the ejector spring and ejector plunger are the same on all strikers ? Are they the same on .308 bolt heat as the .223 bolt head ? I recently bought a new bolt for my striker so I can rebarrel it to .221 fireball, it was a .243 origionaly. Savage sent me a new bolt but it was missing the ejector and the spring and retaining spring. When trying to install it, I found it will not go in far enough. With the spring left out it will go in to the correct depth. Either the hole is not drilled deep enough from Savage or there is a difference in these parts and they sent me the wrong ones. Any help would be great. Thanks
