I can't seem to find a soft case for my 12FV with choate stock and scope. It doesn't fit well in a regular scoped rifle case. Just shipped a 46" tactical case from cabelas which will be going back as it wasn't long enough. Any ideas?

I use the PLANO brand of plastic cases for my 12FV's equipped like yours.

Both above mentioned cases will work -- if you want the best get a Pelican 1750 or Storm 3300i. If you want something to transport it in look for the Plano or similar double scoped rifle cases. My choate/model 12 needs something 49+" long and 14" high, and the case I'm using now is a 51"x15" plano that I picked up for $15 from Walmart on sale. Works just fine while I save for a Pelican 1750.

If you want a very nice soft case get a "Bob Allen" brand 48" case. They sell for about $40 and have very thick padding and some pockets on the outside.

Mine fits my 6br in it with a SSS Hbr stock(3" wide forend), 28" barrel, and a scope with a sunshade.

Well worth the money.
