Has anybody try David Tubbs 115 DTAC's in their 6BRX.

The 6mm Dasher has a very close load compared to the BRX.

It seems like the 115's should work in the BRX.

Tried 'em in a 6x47L. Didn't work as good as the 105 Amax or 105 Berger's in my rifle.

I don't have a 1:7 twist barrel so they are out for me. That is what I was told they needed to fly. Tim

When I talked to David a few years back he said that the 115 would stabilize in a 1 in 8 twist barrel if you keep the velosity (If I remember right) above 3500. They are made by Sierra for Tubbs, they are made to use the same chamber specks as a 107 SMK. (There is a trade off as Tubbs, does the moly coating for Sierra.) I shot them in a 6x47L and in a 6BR, and they stabilized in both with 1 in 8 twist barrels. I just never seen anyting impressive with them, and found that the 107 SMK's just shot better. I also didn't care for the HBN coating that is applied to them. (Now he offers them uncaoted. The smallest amount you can buy is 500. I sold the box I had some time back. Berger has made a 115 bullet for years now, and I found that it shoots about on par as the Tubbs bullet. IMO there are far better 6mm bullets out there.
