I have an older 10 FLP in .308 with a twist of 1:10. I never did find a load that grouped well with 168's or 175's. I decided to try the 155gr Palma and this rifle printed sub 1/2moa all day long. When I found this other shooters didn't believe me because of my barrel twist, they said I couldn't shoot Palma bullets. Can someone explain to me why my barrel with a 10 twist shoots a bullet that "its not suppossed to". The muzzle velocity is 2950-ish with no signs of over pressure.

Not sure what the answer is. My 12fv loves 168's. Had a guy with the same model tell me he got better groups with the 155 palma's so I bought a box. the groups were great for hunting but the 168's are better in my gun...

My 10FLP produces great groups with the Nolser 155 gr Custum Competition bullet but I rarely use them - I set that bullet weight aside for my Springfield Armory NM M1A. Actually it shoots everything well, even cast bullets. Here's an article from 6mmbr.com on building a Palma rifle and note that a 1 in 10 twist barrel was used!
